   Ik zoek en ik zoek, maar ik kan nergens de koers van OPENTV vinden op IEX.NL. Staat die er uberhaupt wel op? Ik wil hem graag in mijn watchlist krijgen namelijk :)

   Nou dan ben ik ook geen slimme jongen. Ik kan de koers namelijk ook niet zien van open tv op iex.

   Excuses, ik volg de koers namelijk niet via iex maar nog niet zo beroerd lang geleden zag ik hem nog tussen de nasdaq aandelen staan. Hij is nu dus niet meer te zien en vind dat erg stom.

   Aug 15, 2004 (Telecom Tactics Insider/PBI Media via COMTEX) -- Avaya Inc. unveils new converged mobility products that extend office communications to highly mobile employees that need to communicate seamlessly inside and outside an enterprise. Among the first to offer hand-off between a local WLAN and a cellular network, the solution enables a new level of mobile business communications. Proxim and Avaya have co-developed the Avaya W310 WLAN Gateway and the Avaya W110 WLAN Access Points that work with Avaya's Communication Manager IP PBX to enable voice over a wireless LAN (WLAN). A new Motorola CN620 dual network Mobile Office Device (a wireless handset) uses the 802.11 standard to connect to the Avaya IP PBX via the WLAN for wireless conversations throughout a work campus and also outside the enterprise over a public cellular network. Many of the same IP PBX calling features available inside the office, such as call hold, conferencing and multiple simultaneous active calls, are extended to mobile employees when they are on the cellular network, according to the companies. The new products use standards-based technologies and provide wireless communications with voice quality and reliability like that of a desktop phone; the Wireless Multimedia Extensions (WME) standard ensures clear voice communication over an 802.11 Wi-Fi network.
   
   Cost savings come from converging voice and data onto one network and lowering usage charges. Mobile employees can be reached at anytime and have increased access to the corporate network, applications and information. Based on the Microsoft Windows CE.NET 4.2 operating system, the dual mode CN620 handset supports approximately 150-190 minutes of talk time and 50-80 hours of standby time using an 800 mAHr Li-Ion standard battery. A 176 x 220 pixel color display provides access to applications, the Web, a call log, e-mail and more.
   
   Avaya, Motorola and Proxim are currently testing this new solution in several enterprises in North America with general availability expected later in 2004. The Motorola CN620 Mobile Office Device is expected to be available in the U.S. at the end of November 2004 and will be sold initially through Avaya's sales channels. The Avaya W310 Gateway and W110 Access Point are available worldwide today. Negotiations are currently in progress with several carriers, and Motorola is expected to announce a carrier partner soon.
   
   Initially, the technology targets large and medium enterprises with highly mobile workforces; however, availability to smaller businesses and consumers is planned.

   In the previous 3 sessions, PROX trading has displayed a mixed trend. Closing results have been as follows:

   August 18, 2004 --- closed at $0.740 up $0.040 (+5.71%) on 885,500 shares
   August 17, 2004 --- closed at $0.700 up $0.040 (+6.06%) on 1,047,000 shares

   Technisch zat het aandeel natuurlijk in een bodem, de after hours koers zou nu al zo ongeveer weer de bovenkant van het kanaal zijn. Opmerkelijk is de after hours trade op 1$ met het grootste volume (3900). Toch verwacht ik geen breakout. Als dit fonds veel hoger opent laat het weer een gap achter en je weet inmiddels wat daar de consequenties van zijn... En als deze stijging gebasseerd is op gebakken lucht ga je even goed weer omlaag.
   
   Toch zou ik m mooi vasthouden...je weet maar nooit of er echt big news komt.

   Bedankt. Dat Avaya verhaal kon ik.
   Alinea 2 en 3 zijn nieuw. Ik blijf
   Prox vasthouden dit mede door Motorola.
   Wi-fi is te klein en te smal. Wimax is het
   vervolg en is in stedelijke gebieden het
   antwoord zonder storing.
