    Vreemde reactie, hoogstwaarschijnlijk aangestoken door shorters & grote partijen die nog eens willen bijkopen aan 4$.
    Zakt die naar 4$, koop ik nog eens vol bij.

    Op de site van Pieris is er een investor presentation te vinden.

    Vrij veel nadruk op prs-080.
    "while improving probability of finding US/EU partner
    after Phase 2a on superior economics"
    Waarschijnlijk in Q4 meer info omtrent de fase 2 ontwikkelingen.
    Momenteel dus nog op zoek naar een partner voor EU/USA. Iemand enig idee hoeveel waarde hieraan gehecht kan worden?

    Ik stap ook volledig in op 4$, moest het zo ver komen.
    Wat me opvalt is dat de koers enorm hard kan zakken op lage volumes, pure manipulatie van shorters dus.
    Speel het slim en koop wanneer de koers zakt door shorters, zonder echte reden.

    Q3 is nog een heel mooi kwartaal met PRS-080 fase 2a resultaten die gaan komen.
    Op basis hiervan zal ASKA eventueel de rechten voor Japan overkopen voor 80mil of meer.
    Dan heb je nog de andere markten, waar men op zoek is voor andere partners.
    Hierover kan wel eens een zeer goed pb'tje komen met misschien weer een miljardendeal als de clinische fase echt meevalt.

    Over PRS-080 uit de Q&A van de Q2 release:
    "Our strategy for subsequent development of this small and other territories will involve out licensing assuming positive Phase II data."

    Bij goede phase 2 resultaten heb je dus niet enkel die 80mil van AKSA die Pieris hoogstwaarschijnlijk zal ontvangen, maar ook misschien een nieuwe (miljarden)samenwerking voor licensing in USA/Europa.
    Dat kan nog interessant zijn voor eind dit jaar/ begin 2018!

    Kelun Will License Its Immunotherapy Patent to Pieris

    (Yicai Global) Aug. 9 - Chinese pharmaceutical company Sichuan Kelun Pharmaceutical Co. [SHE:002422] will license American biopharmaceutical company Pieris Pharmaceuticals. Inc. [NYSE:PIRS] to use its proprietary invention patent for development of a tumor immunology product.

    Kelun’s controlled subsidiary Sichuan Kelun Bio-Tech Pharmaceutical Co. and Pieris signed a license agreement on Aug. 8, per which the former will assign its rights to a patent that relates to tumor immunotherapy monoclonal antibodies to the latter for development of a tumor immunology product, Kelun announced.

    Pieris will pay development expenses of at most USD26.5 million to Kelun Bio-Tech. After the product hits the market, Kelun Bio-Tech will receive sales-based royalties at a prescribed ratio when turnover volumes reach differential objectives. Royalties Pieris will pay to Kelun Bio-Tech shall be no more than USD67.5 million.

    This technology will be used to develop an immune checkpoint inhibitor, which refers to a protective factor in the human immune system which can prevent excessive activation of immune cells. Tumor cells take advantage of its characteristics to over-express immune checkpoint factors to suppress the immune system’s reaction. The inhibitor can reactivate the immune cells’ immunoreactions to the tumor to resist it. The agreement encapsulates the company’s progress in globalizing innovative drugs, which will lift its technological and market value, Kelun said.

    Yes. I think from a BD and corporate development strategy perspective, PRS-343 to us represents potentially the largest value driving asset in the company. And as part of our strategy, a forward integrating based on data and ultimately marketing and selling therapies in the United States, that's our plan and if we choose to maybe partner in a way that accelerates that we'll explore that but in the meantime we'll contend to keep this to ourselves. Because we have the capital I think we have the plan, and we have the network of people internally and through a great advisory network to move this forward on our own full proof of concept. And from there we are going to be data-driven.

    Afgelopen week heb ik mijn 800 stuks toch even verkocht. Ik koop ze weer terug, maar heb het toch nu even bij Pharming gezet afgelopen woensdag. Gezien de berichten verwacht ik dat het een snel hoog resultaat geeft. later koop ik wel pieris moet hier toch nog wel 2 jaar geduld hebben verwacht ik.
