An exit from the the C-Suite that has not been telegraphed well in advance is not good. The CFO is a young guy who is apparently leaving without accepting a new position. We may have a restatement coming.
I suspect that there could be an issue with revenue recognition, My suspicion is (this is a total speculation), when a significant number of consoles are placed under lease (which BCART has discussed in previous calls), that there may be pressure to recognize the revenue (before the requisite number of cartridges are sold) to make the earnings numbers. The "razor and razor blade" model is often prone to taking a hit on the front end in order to make it up on the back end. Again just speculation. These things have a way of coming out so we can probably expect some additional negative news before it gets sorted out.
I'm certain the company is not experiencing a cash crunch and I'm reasonably sure there are significant growth drivers in the near future, so I intend to ride it out. Short term investors can expect a bumpy ride. It is frustrating to see the the technical reviews and user publications indicating that the company is making headway with it's business plan while the stock keep getting shot in the foot by this type of news.
