   The U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) issued an industry-wide warning about possible attacks on exchanges and crypto holders this week. The institution declared that there are threats actively tracking virtual asset platforms in order to take hold of these assets, causing financial losses in the process. Sim swapping, account theft and tech support staff are the means to accomplish these attacks.

   De Oekraïense geheime dienst SBU heeft in de stad Vinnytsja een enorme, illegale cryptofabriek opgerold, omdat de installatie stroom van het elektriciteitsnet van de stad aftapte om de digitale munten te 'minen'.
   
   Deze activiteit, waarbij de rekenkracht van computers wordt ingezet om complexe berekeningen op te lossen, kan een beloning opleveren in de vorm van nieuwe cryptomunten.
   
   Volgens de autoriteiten gaat het om de grootste cryptofabriek die ooit in het land is ontdekt en zijn er 5.000 computers en 3.800 spelconsoles in beslag genomen.
   
   De installatie stal elke maand tot 7 miljoen Oekraïense grivna (omgerekend 216.000 euro) aan elektriciteit, aldus de Oekraïense veiligheidsdienst. Om de diefstal te verbergen, gebruikten de exploitanten elektriciteitsmeters die niet hun werkelijke energieverbruik toonden.
   
   “Dergelijke illegale activiteiten kunnen leiden tot stroompieken en stroomuitval”, aldus de veiligheidsdienst.
   
   Volgens de autoriteiten werd er onderzoek gedaan wegens diefstal van water, elektriciteit en thermische energie. Tijdens huiszoekingen werd de crypto-installatie ontdekt in een verlaten pakhuis van een elektriciteitsbedrijf.

   Op foto’s die zijn vrijgegeven, is een enorme ruimte te zien die is gevuld met metalen rekken met netjes op rij geplaatste computers en Sony Playstations.
   
   De autoriteiten zeiden dat ze naast computers en spelconsoles ook meer dan 500 grafische kaarten, 50 processoren en documentatie over het elektriciteitsverbruik van de installatie in beslag hebben genomen. Ook laptops, telefoons en flashdrives maakte deel uit van de buit, aldus de persverklaring.

    Er zijn ook nog steeds tulpen en tulpenbollen beste ZR, dus ja hoor ik geloof best dat er een aantal blijvertjes zijn.
    
    Ik geloof alleen niet dat ze op deze prijsniveau's blijven(lees m.i. véél lager)...

    Ik denk dat je binnen 5 jaar vloekt dat je niet bent ingestapt aan deze prijzen ;)
    De prijs van Bitcoin heeft momenteel een sterke steun op 31.5 K dollar, eens hij daar volledig doorzakt begin ik mij zorgen te maken, maar voorlopig zie ik de kans veel groter dat hij terug omhoog gaat schieten de komende weken/maanden... we zullen zien

    Ik denk dat wat jij denkt niet uitmaakt.
    De prijs van bitcoin heeft geen sterke steun.

    Dan kan ik je wel garanderen dat je geen feestje zal moeten geven... Nog nooit zat er zoveel institutioneel geld in Bitcoin dan nu, de whales kopen momenteel volop bij, dat is niet omdat ze denken dat de bitcoin nog eens 90% gaat zakken...

    Bank of America: Bitcoin Now 3rd Most Crowded Trade After Tech Stocks and ESG in New Fund Manager Survey
    
    Bank of America’s latest global fund manager survey shows that “long bitcoin” is now the third most crowded trade. The most crowded trade is now “long tech stocks,” followed by “long ESG.”
    
    Bank of America’s global fund manager survey for July, published Tuesday, shows that “long bitcoin” has fallen to third place among the most crowded trades. The Global Fund Manager Survey is Bank of America Securities’ monthly report that canvasses the views of approximately 200 institutional, mutual, and hedge fund managers around the world.
    
    The most crowded trade is now “long tech stocks,” followed by “long ESG,” and “long bitcoin.” “Long commodities” has fallen to fourth place from being the most crowded trade last month.
    
    The surveyed fund managers in July were much less bullish over growth, earnings, and inflation compared to earlier in the year, Bank of America’s survey shows. Overall, 74% of fund managers still expect growth and inflation to be “above trend.”
    
    “Long bitcoin” was the most crowded trade in May when “long tech stocks” came second, followed by “long ESG.” In June, “long commodities” overtook “long bitcoin” as the most crowded trade, leaving the cryptocurrency trade in second place. “Long tech stocks” ranked third and “long ESG” fourth at the time.
    
    Meanwhile, Bank of America has established a cryptocurrency research team, according to the bank’s internal memo. “We are uniquely positioned to provide thought leadership due to our strong industry research analysis, market-leading global payments platform, and our blockchain expertise,” the bank said last week. Bank of America also recently released a report stating that digital currency “could boost economic growth” in developing countries.
