    Zolang er geen echt nieuws is, heeft het geen zin om je druk te maken over de waan van de dag. Ik hoop ook dat we 31 augustus nieuws te horen krijgen als Anavex presenteert op de AAIC conferentie.

    AF en Jesse Brodkin (en nog wat andere types) richten zich op verschillende bedrijven die Alzheimer medicatie ontwikkelen. Vaak rond goed nieuws momenten, recent ook toen AVXL goed nieuws had. Hetzelfde gebeurt bij SAVA en vast ook andere bedrijven.
    Geen idee of hun beweringen hout snijden, maar korte termijn effect heeft het wel.
    Of AVXL, SAVA enz nou echt bedreigingen voor de gevestigde orde zijn, of gewoon makkelijk te shorten? Maakt het wel lastiger om op fundamenten te investeren.

    Dank je wel Nelis H. AVXL is trending op stocktwits.

    Als ik de publicatie goed begrijp is het werkingsmechanisme van blarcamesine in onder meer Alzheimer en Parkinson gedetailleerd uitgeplozen. De conclusie is: het werkt en we weten ook waarom het werkt. Dit kan maandag enorm worden, te meer vanwege shortcovering.

    For the time being at least, this leaves Anavex's blarcamesine as the best current hope for the near stabilization of Alzheimer's disease over the long-term. Results from Anavex's 48 weeks phase 2b/3 trial may be known late in the Fall. It is possible that the company will be able to present the results at the CTAD conference in late November and early December. The pattern of early improvement in some patients that carried all the way through to 109 weeks should be replicated in a much larger trial at 48 weeks. From there even without U.S. trial centers, the FDA should grant accelerated approval, allowing for the sale of the drug, but with continued testing, with U.S. sites, over longer periods of time. Nothing is for certain, but all of this should give long-time investors in the company considerable optimism and perhaps draw a few new investors before the release of trial results.

    Ben ook ingestapt, lijkt een enorme opportuniteit al kabbelt de koers momenteel maar wat mee puur en alleen met de XBI. Hopelijk verandert dat gauw. Ik zag dat er meerdere recruitment sites in Nederland waren voor de Alzheimer 2b/3 studie. Iemand toevallig enige echo's opgevangen van daaruit?
