    The Wall Street herd is turning on Gary Gensler. The walls are collapsing around him. When Novogratz is saying positive things about Ripple and XRP you know Gary is in a bad place.

    Notice how top CNBC contributor Jay Clayton has not made an appearance yet on the show to talk the #Ripple #XRP victory, confirmation Jay is a coward. He filed the lawsuit and ran out the SEC door the next day. Now after Ripple wins he goes into hiding.

    The platform is an enhanced version of Ripple's Private Ledger, which was started in 2021 for issuing CBDCs. The platform is powered by the XRP Ledger, but was built on a new private ledger.

    Ripple will show the use case for its platform under the e-HKD pilot, a program run by the Hong Kong Monetary Authority, the de facto central bank. It is also working with Taiwan's Fubon Bank, to build a product for real estate asset tokenization and equity distribution, under the e-HKD pilot.

    TOKYO, Feb 17 (Reuters) - Japan will start a pilot programme in April to test the use of a digital yen, its central bank said on Friday, joining a growing number of countries seeking to catch up with front-runner China in launching a central bank digital currency (CBDC).

    The widely expected move follows two years of experiments that the Bank of Japan (BOJ) has been conducting to decide whether to issue a CBDC, and moves Japan closer to issuing a digital yen in several more years.

    The Bank of Japan (BoJ) has planned experiments on a digital yen with three megabanks and regional banks in the country, Nikkei reported on Wednesday.

    Starting in the spring of 2023, the BoJ will work with private banks and other organizations to identify any problems with deposits and withdrawals, and check that a central bank digital currency (CBDC) can operate during natural disasters and in areas without internet access, according to the report.

    Although the report did not name the banks, Japan's “three megabanks” typically refer to Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group Inc., Sumitomo Mitsui Financial Group Inc. and Mizuho Financial Group Inc.

    All three of Japan’s largest banks have now joined the Japan bank consortium using Ripple, including Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation (SMBC), MUFG and Mizuho. We also welcome Japan Post Bank to the roster of the top banks by assets using Ripple for payments in Japan.

    On July 26, the government of Palau will commence a pilot project for a new United States dollar-backed stablecoin, set to be issued on the XRP Ledger. The Palau Stablecoin (PSC), also known as the Kluk, will be initially distributed to government employees after undergoing testing with volunteers making purchases using various devices.

    The PSC is built on the Ripple CBDC Platform, which was introduced in May. Ripple had been in discussions with over 20 governments about central bank digital currency issuance at that time, and its partnership with Palau was announced back in 2021, with a targeted launch date in 2022.

    Ripple blijft dynamisch met een onverminderde focus op vernieuwing en het aangaan van strategische samenwerkingen.     XRP Spikes 10% as Several Institutions Adopt Ripple’s Services
    However, bulls may have reacted to two positive developments for payments firm Ripple from last week as the company won key approvals to operate and offer services in Georgia and Dubai.

    Ripple said last Thursday that the Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA) approved XRP under its virtual assets regime – allowing licensed firms in the Dubai International Financial Centre, a financial sandbox, to incorporate and offer XRP to clients as part of their crypto services.

    On the same day, the firm said it would start working with the National Bank of Georgia (NBG) on the Digital Lari (GEL) pilot project, which will use the firm’s central bank digital currency (CBDC) platform.

    Hong Kong and Taiwan governments are already using the CBDC service, which launched in May. Institutions can use the platform to manage and customize the entire life cycle of the CBDC, which includes minting, distribution, redemption and token burning.

    Central banks can issue both wholesale and retail CBDCs, which can make offline transactions as well.

    Dit gedeelte van het forum is dan misschien dood, Ripple bestaat nog steeds ;)
    En XRP doet nog steeds mee met de prijsschommelingen, helaas niet mee met de trend van BTC om z'n ATH te verbeteren... Tijd zal het leren of dat nog in het vat zit.
