    Amsterdam (BETTEN BEURSMEDIA NEWS) - Royal Dutch Shell heeft woensdag 850.000 eigen aandelen A ingekocht. Dat heeft het Brits-Nederlandse olieconcern 's avonds bekendgemaakt.

    In totaal werden in Amsterdam 550.000 aandelen gekocht voor EUR 27,64 per aandeel. Daarnaast heeft Shell in Londen 300.000 aandelen ingekocht tegen een prijs van 1.873,37 pence per aandeel. Al deze stukken worden ingetrokken.

    Na het intrekken van de aandelen bedraagt het aantal uitstaande aandelen A van Royal Dutch Shell 3.713.310.000. Per 15 november staan nog 2.759.360.000 aandelen B uit.

    Zelfde prijs in pondjes als 2 jaar terug, in euries is het 4 lager. Lekker he, die sterke munt

    Aardige vergelijking.

    Over 2006 verdiende Shell USD 25,442 miljard, dit was omgerekend in euro's € 19,285 miljard (koers 0,758)

    Over 2008 zal Shell ongeveer USD 40 miljard verdienen (of is dat wat te optimistisch?) en tegen de huidige dollarkoers van 0,6791 is dat € € 27,16 miljard.

    Het aantal aandelen zal eind 2008 3 à 4 procent lager zijn dan eind 2006.

    Simplistisch geredeneerd zou RD zo'n 45% hoger moeten staan (in euro's dus) in plaats van 14% lager.

    De markt zal het wel beter weten, maar min kompas staat bij deze koersen op kopen.

    Ik ben maar een kleine belegger, en zit ook nog eens overwogen in cash (ik vertrouw die bank-crisis niet).

    Kompas op kopen betekent dat ik eerder uitkijk naar kopen op dips dan naar verkopen op tops. Van beiden heb je trouwens vaak spijt op de korte termijn. Timing van pieken en dalen is zoals bekend lastig.

    Dat wat ik beschikbaar heb zit sinds begin dit jaar in Shell. Ik denk dat ik gemiddeld iets onder de 23 gekocht heb juist vanwege het dividend ben ik ingestapt (heb recentelijk ook wat stukjes opgepakt voor mijn zoontje van 2) omdat het nog steeds redelijk concurrerend is met deposito.

    De dalende olieprijs kost de koers een euro, en doet de beurs opleven. Ik denk dat dit allemaal korte termijn ruis is. Ik sluit ook niet uit dat de olieprijs gebruikt wordt/werd om de beurs te manipuleren. Met succes, in dat geval.

    Vooralsnog mag Shell weer wat goedkoper inkopen.

    Ik denk dat ze het inkoop-programma niet zo micromanagen. Omdat de winst wat lager uitvalt bij een olieprijs rond de 100 dollar dan wanneer deze 140 gebleven was, is er zelfs een kans dat ze op een volgend inkoopprogramma gaan beknibbelen.

    Vooralsnog is het huidige tempo wat hoger dan eerder. De 'pence' (Britse Pond) zijn trouwens ook niet wat ze geweest zijn...

    Shell trekt zich niets aan van allerlei kwalificaties die het naar het hoofd geslingerd krijgt. Vandaag zijn het er wat meer.

    Merk op dat het nog steeds handwerk lijkt te zijn, deze berichtjes (2x het woord cancellation).

    Ik heb bij de Binck bank een account, en ik wilde mijn dividendrechten RD herinvesteren, dus heb ik mijn dividendrechten netjes bij Binck aangemeld voor 29-08.
    Tot mijn verbazing kreeg ik gisteren geen nieuwe aandelen bijgeschreven, maar werd het bedrag bijgestort op mijn rek. courant.Ik heb onder instellingen wel bij dividendkeuze cash staan, i.p.v. stock, maar dat mag toch geen verschil uitmaken, als ik via de mail aan Binck te kennen geef dat ik mijn dividendrechten wens te herinvesteren?.
    Weet er misschien iemand,hoe dit mogelijk is?

    @beurswatcher - Het dividend reïnvestment plan (DRIP) wordt voor Shell uitgevoerd door ABN Amro, en je kunt je via je broker aanmelden. Wat er gebeurt is dat van het netto dividend (dus na aftrek van de 15% dividendbelasting die je volgend jaar terug kunt vragen) aandelen RDSA uit de markt worden gekocht en aan je positie toegevoegd. Het is dus géén stock- of keuzedividend. Een bedragje waarvoor geen aandeel meer gekocht kan worden blijft staan tot de volgende keer. Je doet mee tot je je afmeldt (of tot je je aandelen verkoopt veronderstel ik).

    Heb er zelf geen ervaring mee overigens.

    Bedankt voor je reactie, nu is me e.e.a. een stuk duidelijker geworden,ik ga alleen even goed nadenken of ik mijn dividendrechten op deze wijze te gelde blijf maken, of dat ik gewoon voor de cash ga.
