   DSM Biologics and Crucell Sign a Biopharmaceutical Manufacturing Agreement

   DSM Biologics, a business unit of DSM Pharmaceutical Products (headquartered in Parsippany, NJ) and Crucell (headquartered in Leiden, Netherlands) have signed a Biopharmaceutical Manufacturing Agreement for production on the basis of the PER.C6® manufacturing platform of Crucell’s proprietary antibody cocktail (containing two antibodies), which Crucell develops against rabies. Under the terms of the agreement, Crucell has contracted DSM Biologics, its alliance partner for the PER.C6® manufacturing platform, for the process validation and manufacturing of antibody batches for Phase III clinical efficacy studies. The services will be provided out of DSM Biologics’ FDA-approved manufacturing facility in Groningen, The Netherlands.

   Pb komt niet van Crucell...maar van DSM... nietemin lijkt het me een positief bericht!

   Even met wat meer geweld de koers naar beneden zetten, we waren immers juist zo lekker bezig langzaam naar beneden te gaan, dan kan het niet zo zijn natuurlijk dat een persbericht van DSM dit gaat verstoren !!
   
   Verschil met de AMX is alweer 2,5 % net als gisteren, net als voorgisteren en de xxxx dagen ervoor !!!

    SVP kijk op de site van crucell. Phase 1 afgesloten. Resultaten moeten een deze dagen komen. Dan komt volgens mij phase 2. Het dsm verhaal is toekomst.

    ach, voorlopig maar even de koers vóór break-even volgen.

    Imo gaat het om een anti-body mix (en niet om een vaccine) met 2 nieuwe anti-bodies door Crucell gevonden via haar Mabstract technologie (zie draadje flu-antibodies) en die het virus efficienter aanvallen. Tests hadden aangetoond dat 3 eerder gekende anti-bodies niet effectief genoeg waren (een pluim dus weer voor de Mabstract technologie).
    
    De anti-body mix is geschikt gemaakt om te worden vermenigvuldigd op Crucell's humane cellenlijn PER.C6

    Sir Piet ik zeg niet dat je ongelijk hebt maar dit is wel degelijk ook een mogelijkheid.
