   Ik zie de post nu pas. Ik heb me even vluchtig ingelezen en ik denk dat er inderdaad erg veel potentie in dit bedrijf cq koers zit. Ik ga me zeker verder verdiepen in DNDN. Aankopen doe ik niet voordat de koers boven 4.80 sluit of de MA50. Ik verlies liever wat in de aankoopprijs met een grotere zekerheid dat de koers up gaat dan dat ik iets meer winst maak met een lagere aankopprijs.
   
   Maar al met al DNDN staat op mijn watchlist. Bedankt voor de tip Lucky.

   DNDN4.81, +0.48, +11.1%) shares rose more than 7% Friday morning after the company said it plans to seek approval for its prostate cancer drug, Provenge, later this year. A Phase III trial showed a median survival time 4.5 months longer in advanced prostate cancer patients who took the investigational active cellular immunotherapy vs. those who took a placebo. Of those taking Provenge, which acts by stimulating a patient's immune system, 34% were alive 36 months after treatment vs. 11% of those who took a placebo. The Provenge patients also demonstrated a 31% delay in their time to disease progression compared with those in the placebo arm of the trial. Results from the trial have been published in the latest issue of the Journal of Clinical Oncology.

    geen volgers meer?
    12 miljoen shorts.. dus zal niet meteen hoog staan..
    
    echter volgens laatste CC voor eind deze maand klinisch gedeelte van BLA gefiled... dan komt daar eind dit jaar de CMC bij (productie gedeelte van BLA filing)..daarna 6 maandne review door FDA
    
    denk eind deze maand toch zeker pr.. en rond 4,10

    17/08/2006 - Dendreon has finished the construction of its New Jersey manufacturing facility which it will use to produce its investigational active cellular immunotherapy for advanced prostate cancer, hoping to be the first to bring it to patients.
    
    The new facility has the capacity to support clinical processes and future anticipated commercial needs for Dendreon's Provenge (sipuleucel-T), that may represent the first in a new class of active cellular immunotherapies (ACIs) that are uniquely designed to stimulate a patient's own immune system.
    More than one million men in the United States have prostate cancer, with an estimated 232,000 new cases of the disease diagnosed each year and more than 30,000 men dying each year of the disease.
    
    “The completion of the initial build-out of our New Jersey manufacturing facility is an important milestone on the path to our Provenge license application for marketing approval, which we plan to submit to the FDA later this year,” said Mitchell Gold, president of Dendreon.
    
    “We are committed to bringing Provenge to the market to help the many men with late-stage prostate cancer and believe this achievement brings us one step closer to this goal.”
    
    The drug is currently in Phase III and, if approved, Provenge would become the first commercially available active cellular immunotherapy designed to stimulate a man's own immune system to treat advanced hormone-refractory prostate cancer.
    
    It is delivered via Dendreon's proprietary antigen delivery cassette technology, which uses a recombinant form of an antigen found in approximately 95 per cent of prostate cancers, prostatic acid phosphatase (PAP), to stimulate the patient's immune system to attack the cancer cells.
    
    But Dendreon is not looking just in-house for the manufacturing of the drug; last March, the US biotechnology firm awarded Diosynth with a long-term contract to produce Provenge.
    
    Once approved, Diosynth will manufacture Provenge for market launch and commercial sale in its facility in North Carolina, US, where the company currently produces the product on a small scale to supply clinical trials.
    
    Once demand for Provenge increases, Diosynth plans to upscale manufacturing and will shift production to its large-scale cell culture facility in the Netherlands.
    
    The commercial launch of the drug will depend largely on whether any established survival benefit is significant enough for the FDA to accept the data and give the green light for production.
