    is deze tent niet gewoon feitelijk al failliet?

    zelfs Inveztor heeft op 6 cent uiteindelijk ook eieren voor zijn geld gekozen.

    en hoog volume, volgens mij is 500k CAD nog niet eens 20k euro...

    OPAL ENERGY ANNOUNCES APPOINTMENT OF MR. MICHAEL CURTIS TO BOARD OF DIRECTORS
    September 29, 2008

    Opal Energy Corp. (the “Company”) (TSX-V: OPA) announces that its Board of Directors has appointed Michael Curtis to the Board as an independent director.

    Mr. Curtis has more than 35 years of experience in the Canadian financial industry in areas including trading, research, corporate finance and the management of public companies. Beginning in 1972, he spent 16 years as an equity specialist on the Floor of the Toronto and Montreal Exchanges, working for Dean Witter Reynolds Inc. and later, as the chief equity trader for Prudential Bache Securities Inc., where he built a team of twelve stock and options inventory traders. He served on various committees at the Montreal Exchange and as chairman of the Floor Procedures Committee. In 1988, he left Prudential Bache Securities to work in the management and development of certain publicly traded companies. In 1991 he became a director of Aurtec Inc., a public company trading on the Montreal Stock Exchange, with which he was involved until 1993. In 1990, he became president and director of Granisko Resources Inc., a public oil and gas company trading on the Montreal Stock Exchange. In 1998, Mr. Curtis founded and became president and director of Cardwell Capital Inc., a private investment and trading corporation, which invests in small and mid capitalization public companies trading in North American markets.

    The Company also announces that its Board has accepted the resignation of independent director Tim Nesler, effective September 26, 2008. Mr. Nesler has advised the Board that he intends to focus on his other business interests.

    President and CEO Barry Williamson commented, “We greatly appreciate Tim’s service to the Company and wish him well. Likewise, we welcome Mike to our Board. He brings a wealth of financial experience and we look forward to working with him.”

    OPAL ENERGY ANNOUNCES APPOINTMENT OF MR. GERALD TUSKEY TO BOARD OF DIRECTORS
    October 2, 2008

    Opal Energy Corp. (the “Company”) (OPA: TSX-V) announces that its Board of Directors has appointed Mr. Gerald Tuskey to the Board as an independent director.

    Mr. Tuskey has 22 years of experience as an attorney specializing in securities and corporate law, during which he has provided legal counsel to a wide variety of domestic and international clients. For the past 16 years, he has worked as a self-employed corporate and securities lawyer based in Vancouver, British Columbia. He was previously employed as an associate lawyer at firms in Calgary and Vancouver. From 1993 to 2001 Mr. Tuskey served as a director of Arawak Energy Corporation (formerly A&B Geoscience Corporation), a TSX listed oil and gas company.

    To accommodate the new member, Dr. Vikram Rao has resigned from his position as independent director, effective October 1, 2008.

    The Company also announces the layoff of ten (10) members of its professional and technical staff to reduce overhead as it continues to pursue funding for its drilling initiatives. The Company has eight (8) remaining employees.

    President and CEO Barry Williamson commented, “We believe these measures will strengthen the Company financially and better position it to exploit drilling opportunities. We thank Vik and our departing staff and members for their service to the company. Likewise, we welcome Gerald to our Board. We look forward to working with him and our other Board members to secure funding, and implement our drilling strategy.”

    Opal Energy Corp. (the “Company”) (TSX-V: OPA) announces that its Board of Directors has appointed Mr. David Hughes to the Board as an independent director.

    Mr. Hughes is currently the president of International Consulting Alliance, a Vancouver-based management consulting firm. Prior to beginning an 18-year career as a management consultant, he held several senior positions at major companies in the mining, air transportation, manufacturing and retail sectors. His extensive international experience includes work in Asia, Europe and throughout North America. Mr. Hughes has taught entrepreneurship and marketing at several post-secondary institutions. He served as the chair of the British Columbia Ethics in Action Society, a program that recognizes companies for their achievements in business ethics, and he is currently on the boards of several not-for-profit community organizations.

    The Company also announces that the Board has accepted the resignations of Mr. Barry Williamson as director, president and CEO, and Mr. Bruce Huff as CFO and corporate secretary, effective October 9, 2008. Further, the Board has made the following appointments: Michael Curtis, as the new president and CEO; and John Lang, previously the Company’s controller, as the new CFO and corporate secretary.

    President and CEO Michael Curtis commented, “We greatly appreciate Barry’s and Bruce’s service to the Company and wish them both well. Likewise, we welcome David to the Board and John to his new role. While the Company has experienced many changes of late, its strategic focus remains the SW Victoria 3-D Seismic Survey initiative. David and I met with the Company’s exploration team last week to discuss the project. Our current plan is to commence drilling operations in the survey region this winter. We look forward to reporting on our progress.”

    Ben ingestapt op 0.28CAD en toen een rid gemaakt naar 0.55CAD en alles verkocht. Nu na vele maanden zie ik dat er bijna niets meer van over is.

    Als ze de stekker er uit trekken, hadden ze dit dan al niet gedaan ?

    Zou het nog levensvatbaar zijn ? Mede door het investorz forum werd dit aandeel toen zo de hemel ingeprezen.

    bestaat dit bedrijf nou eigenlijk nog wel ?

    de site doet het nog wel maar al in geen weken een persbericht of wat dan ook !

    1 goed pb over een order en je slaat jezelf voor je kop dat je er geen duizenden heb ingeslagen voor 0.01 - 0.02.

    maar ze kunnen ook gewoon kapot gaan natuurlijk.
