For investors:
First of all, kpn shares are on the lowest percentile of historical pdf .
Second, probability of default is very low (~0.000…1) – one of the reasons is trivial – it’s extremely unlikely that Slim would like to lose his stake plus that he paid for new shares.
So, why should anyone take losses ? Given above-mentioned, there are no reasons to take any (!) losses voluntarily – don’t sell if you don’t need to do so.
Again, the probability to get “double bonuses” (for those with “average” ~ 1.56 -1.60), or to cover taken losses by repurchasing at lower prices (for those with a bit higher “average”), was reasonably high for those who sold at ~1.65-1.75…. So, the price level ~1.65 is a trigger for “dominant trading strategy” (dts), but only if one can find enough “sellers”….
Some parties (big and small) may still try to use “dts” again to share your “bonuses” received at rights issue… don’t give them out, don't sell if you don't need...
