    MDX staat er eigenlijk al veel beter voor .( nu de koers nog)

    Exact Sciences' (EXAS) potential is so misunderstood and undervalued that we believe that EXAS probably has an upside of 100%-300% over the next twelve months based on the prospects of its first product, Cologuard, on a standalone basis. Keep in mind, our evaluation does not consider the Exact Sciences product development pipeline. In conjunction with the Mayo Clinic, EXAS is pursuing numerous additional markers for other gastrointestinal tract cancers that can be detected with the same or similar kit. This year's Digestive Disease Week 2014 [DDW] listed at least ten related investigations.

    Exact Sciences Corporation is a molecular DNA diagnostics company whose first product, Cologuard, is a multiple-marker DNA molecular platform product. Cologuard is a non-invasive diagnostic test kit for colorectal cancer [CRC] and, importantly, CRC precursors. The test combines detection of multiple DNA markers in stool [sDNA] and a fecal blood test. According to figures produced by the CDC in 2010, CRC kills over 50,000 people a year in the United States. And the World Health Organization [WHO] reports that in 2008 over 225,000 die each year in Europe. The novel part of Cologuard is the automated, highly sensitive test for aberrant cells shed from the lining of the gastrointestinal tract. Because the progression of CRC from a small polyp to stage IV CRC takes 10-15 years, a test with the sensitivity of Cologuard should substantially reduce annual deaths from CRC by detecting pre-cancerous polyps prior to extensive harm.

    Bedankt voor de plaatsing.
    Exas zwaar ondergewaardeerd. Maar hoe zit het met de motor van de testkit?? Prostaattest nemen spectaculair toe. Blockbuster Cologuard in de startblokken. Maar MDx heeft meer pijlen op de boog. Kortom de toekomst ziet er goed uit. Een te verwachten koersdoel van € 79,99 sluit ik niet uit. Natuurlijk veel mitsen maarens. Maar ik denk op mijn eigen boerenklompenverstand na.

    Ik heb al genoeg goed nieuws gelezen, maar het bedrijf staat gewoon niet in de picture.
    Bovendien lijkt het hen geen worst uit te maken hoe hoog het aandeel staat.
    Ze concentreren zich op hun produkt en niet op de waarde van hun aandeel.
    De stijging bij Aperam was mooi maar volstrekt doorgeslagen.

    Zozo 3 bijeenkomsten om de investeerders bij te praten. Dit moet toch wel goed nieuws worden. In hoeverre zal MDx daar van profiteren?

    Daarnaast vraag ik mijzelf ook af in hoeverre MDx hiervan kan profiteren. In alle artikelen over Exact Sciences en haar Cologuard kom ik helemaal niks tegen over MDxHealth. Terwijl MDx juist ervoor gezorgd heeft dat Exact Sciences Cologuard überhaupt kon ontwikkelen ...

    Het artikel was al eerder geplaatst. Maar laat Exas z'n handeltje lekker op de markt zetten. MDx strijkt de royalties wel op.
    Ben wel benieuwd of er ook al plannen zijn om het in Europa aan de man te brengen en wie dat gaat doen.

    Volgens de website van MDXHealth was het benodigde aantal mensen niet aanwezig om besluiten te mogen nemen. Er komt nu een nieuwe vergadering op Maandag 23-6-2014, 10.00h waarbij het nog eens geprobeerd zal worden.

    MDxHealth and HistoGeneX Awarded $1.8 Million IWT Grant to Develop Companion Diagnostics for Cancer Immunotherapy
