    Volgens de TA van Nico Bakker gaan we de 80,00 euro regionen weer opzoeken. Vorig jaar dacht ik, ik kom terug bij 75,00 euro. Ik heb mijn koers verlegd naar een koers van 80,00 euro en misschien nog wel iets lager. Aandelen kopen en puts 80,00 euro dec2018 verder aanvullen in mijn porto.

    De genoemde analist kan uitstekend zijn TA onder woorden brengen maar van koersen heeft hij nog geen greintje verstand en beleggen is gezien zijn track records op de verschillende beursspelletjes-sites ook laten we zeggen niet zijn sterkste kant.

    Yes, Nico is fully right this time .... (although it’s not just about TA, even if theoretically it really reflects, in some extent, all but only "stationary" components of all "fundamentals" within efficient & complete markets, if any)

    If shortly, the prob is really high that for a fourth week ‘asml’ is busy with top-forming, fighting just around its long-term resistance - the upper edge of its uptrend-channel since 2009 (actually with a very high prob it's a “bubble” since 2012). The company‘s “fair value” is just around ~39 (that is very close to the price that new “main shareholders” actually paid in a fall 2012).

    Indeed, since Nov 2014 one can see a decrease in “accumulation” and rising of “distribution” components. As well as, the OBV looks down since last Dec. The most advanced MFI - index (accounts for both price & volume) moves down from its high ~100 last Sept, continuing its downtrend further from ~85 in Nov to ~50 currently. The RSI (accounts for price only) also moves down from almost ~80 in Nov/Dec 2014 to ~55 currently. The ‘macd’ is below the signal, and both are moving down towards ‘zero’ since Dec 30 (don't forget that the exact values for MFI & RSI depend on several in-put parameters)

    Given "very specific" trading patterns, the main reasons that it took so long to build up a bubble are: i) a number of big players/banks (~8-9) pumped & supported prices, and ii) 1 bln “buy-back program” from asml itself (just ended). Mass-media was also involved in promotion of “investment opinion”, in particular, by comparing sometimes “company performance” with just, so-called, “analysts expectations” (often "forgetting" to compare with objective results from previous quarters/years.... when such a comparison could lead to negative conclusions).

    The top-formation may take still some time, conditional on average week-volume, as the “big-boys” need to find enough buyers to disperse their accumulated volume at the “top-prices“. After that a sub-trend towards the lower channel-border ~70 could be expected with quite high prob. On the way down the support level will be around ~80.

    Do not forget that ‘asml’ is currently at ATH, and it’s the most overvalued fund within the highly overvalued aex (in respect to real economy). It has the highest “beta” = 1.75 (among aex-funds), resulting in a highest risk - much higher than the ‘market risk’ associated with the aex-index itself.

    TOSTRAMS (Binck):
    ASML herstelt vanaf de onderkant van het stijgende trendkanaal.
    Het beeld van ASML oogt, afgezien van de recente adempauze, nog steeds positief. ASML laat hogere koersbodems op de grafiek achter en dat duidt op aanhoudende vraag onder beleggers. Met een doorbraak en slotstand boven de laatste koerspiek kan de oude stijgende trend worden hervat. Zolang steun 81,71 (bodem van 25 november 2014) intact blijft oogt het beeld positief. Weerstand hanteren we rond 100,00 (berekend koersdoel).
    Eerder ingenomen posities mag men aanhouden, zolang de steun op basis van de slotkoers (81,71) intact blijft.
    NB: maar nu toch al ruim 2% gezakt naar ongeveer 87 euro.
