    Het verschil is een kwestie van extrapoleren. Het herstel gaat bij Heijmans sneller dan bij Bam. Ik heb het al vaker gezegd, het gaat niet alleen om de omzet, maar vooal wat je boven de streep overhoudt. Dat is bij Bam nog steeds magertjes en wat dat betreft zijn de vooruitzichten van Heijmans beter. Neemt niet weg dat BAM ook te veel afgesratft is en een bescheiden verdere stijging verwacht mag worden. Koersdoelen van banken of beleggingsintermediairs zeggen mij weinig. Wanneer je daar op let, staan vrijwel alle aandelen te laag.

    Ik begrijp al dat gezeu over het shortgaan niet. Wanneer de visie van de meeste posters klopt, heeft short gaan geen enkele zin. Afdekken van verlichtingen zal de koers binnenkort alleen maar flink kunnen stimuleren.

    En daar bij, als er voor een x bedrag short wordt gegaan betekend dat ook dat voor een zelfde bedrag mensen long gaan. Want je kunt namelijk niks verkopen als niemand wilt kopen.

    BAM secures contract to design & build Dublin student accommodation

    The contract to design and build a 400-bed student residence block in the Liberties area of Dublin for Global Student Accommodation (GSA) has been won by BAM Ireland.

    The site will be developed in a partnership between GSA Group, which in 2015 opened its Dublin base on Leeson Street and The Creedon Group, the property investment and management group. GSA will fund and develop the student accommodation.

    Commenting on its contract with GSA, Theo Cullinane, BAM Ireland chief executive,told the Irish Times: “We are very pleased to have concluded this agreement, which will contribute to the rejuvenation of this historic quarter of Dublin. While building activity has picked up recently, there is still a real shortage of student accommodation in Dublin,”



    On completion the project will deliver an extensive new public realm and landscaping to Mill Street and Warrenmount Lane. In addition, the refurbishment of a dilapidated historic townhouse at No.10 Mill Street will be refurbished to provide a centrepiece for Mill Street. The reinstatement of No.10 will be hugely beneficial to the area, due to its historical significance. It was built in 1720’s as the Earl of Meath’s townhouse and remains one of the oldest buildings in Dublin.

    Dat klopt , het is meen ik de Dow Jones Newswires

    Ik heb eerder Binck benaderd vanwege achter gebleven nieuws en zij plaatsen alleen maar wat ze aangeleverd krijgen. Dan is dit gewoon een misser

    The €230 million N25 New Ross Bypass public-private partnership (PPP) project in County Wexford, Republic of Ireland has reached financial close.

    Mott MacDonald is technical advisor on the public-private partnership, awarded by the National Roads Authority, otherwise known as Transport Infrastructure Ireland.

    Work will be carried out by BAM Ireland and Dragados, a construction division of ACS Group, based in Spain.

    The scheme involves construction of 13.6km of dual carriageway and 1.2km of new or upgraded single carriageway. It will also link the N25 with the N30 New Ross to Enniscorthy route.

    Contractors will also build a 900m three-tower extrados bridge over the River Barrow - the longest of its kind in the world – to connect Pink Point in County Kilkenny with Stokestown in County Wexford.

    Mott MacDonald has been involved in the project since the original feasibility study in 1999, bringing the project successfully through all stages from feasibility, through route selection and preliminary design, to tender preparation and specimen design. The consultancy will now provide design review and construction monitoring services in an ongoing role.

    “Our work on this scheme builds on our role on the award-winning N25 Waterford Bypass following its opening in 2009,” said John Murphy, Mott MacDonald’s project director.

    Construction of the N25 New Ross Bypass is due to be completed in 2019, which will be followed by a 25-year operation and maintenance period.

    Among Mott MacDonald’s other recent PPP projects are the Turkey’s northern Marmara sea motorway and Istanbul’s third Bosphorus bridge, all as part of a 2€ billion project to build, operate and maintain a 95km motorway and the world’s largest combined road/rail stiffened suspension bridge. Mott MacDonald is the lenders’ technical advisor for the 10-year concession period.

    Also, in the Netherlands, Mott MacDonald is the lender’s technical advisor for the A9 Gaasperdammerweg motorway. The €700 million project will reconstruct and expand the A9 motorway between the junctions of Holendrecht and Diemen.

    PARIS--A group led by French construction firm Vinci (DG.FR) has been selected as preferred bidder by the state-owned Danish company Femern A/S to build a tunnel linking Denmark and Germany, the French company said Monday.
    The project represents an investment worth several billion euros, a company spokesman said Monday.
    French finance daily Les Echos reported that the project is worth a total 7 billion euros ($7.7 billion). The Vinci-led group won two out of the three parts of the project estimated at between EUR2 billion and EUR4 billion, the newspaper said.
