   I was driving on Hwy 99 between Corning and Chico, CA a couple of days ago and noticed that on the undivided portion of that freeway, I was still able to set AP at 10mph over the speed limit:

   Yes, the new database they are using (TomTom, I believe?) seems to be a bit more permissive about which roads are classified as limited access. I know some around here complain that they are getting further restricted, but in my area many previously-restricted roads are now unrestricted.

   Tesla rijders vragen zich af op basis waarvan hun auto de speed limit baseert, snelheidsborden lezen of mapdata. Het laatste is het geval en vermoedelijk van TT, fouten kan men melden bij TT volgens Tesla support (helpdesk)

   Een zwerver die onder het viaduct bij TomTom HQ in Amsterdam vertoeft? Met goed zicht op de voordeur en af en toe een peukje mee op straat rookt?
   
   Hoop dat je gelijk hebt. Tesla zou een mooie PR vis zijn. En een mogelijke stap naar een (eerste) internationale standaard.

    The technology supplier demonstrated here on Monday what it calls its minimum risk condition technology, which is designed to bring an automated vehicle to a safe stop, either in the lane or on the shoulder, when a driver fails to respond to warnings from the vehicle.

    The Toyota Research Institute in Ann Arbor has focused on public road and closed-course testing of autonomous vehicles.
    
    “The road to creating a car as safe, or safer, than a human driver will require billions of test miles including simulation, real-world driving on public roads, and closed-course testing where we can expose our systems to extreme circumstances and conditions,” Toyota Research Institute CEO Gill Pratt said in a statement.
    
    Though Toyota is the first automaker to sponsor the site, GM, Ford Motor Co. and Robert Bosch have expressed verbal support for the joint-development center.

    Nul komma nul lek, wat mij betreft, laat staan "als een mandje". Wie deelt hier anders even al het gelekte nieuws? Kunnen we een stuk rijker van worden met z'n allen, want de brede markt lijkt het niet te weten en doet maar wat (eerst 9% omhoog en nu weer alles kwijt).
