   En ja, het Pharming forum staat voor mij op nummer 1, gevolgd door Arcelor, welke ik niet meer in porto heb, en dan het Galapagos forum (ook in porto).

   Kijk dat bedoel ik nu...., zonder EIGEN belang informatie verstrekken om andere te helpen is simpelweg TOP!!!!! (AB)
   Ikzelf heb daar absoluut niet de tijd voor en beperk me daardoor uitsluitend tot Pharming. Heb mezelf wel eens ter beschikking gesteld om hier in Brazilië als vertegenwoordiger te fungeren, maar dat zou ik op dit moment ook niet meer kunnen combineren met mijn huidige werk als makelaar. De huizenmarkt trekt hier nu namelijk behoorlijk aan in Curitiba.
   Wél probeer ik Ruconest hier onder de aandacht te brengen bij de HAE organisatie alhier.

    Specialty drug costs were responsible for more than 97% of the total cost of care for hereditary angioedema (HAE), according to a recent study by pharmacy benefit manager Prime Therapeutics.
    
    The study, presented at the Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy’s Managed Care and Specialty Pharmacy 30th Annual Meeting, suggests a high need for effective case management by pharmacists to optimize care for HAE, according to the authors. The use of specialty drugs to treat HAE occurred in 15 per 1 million commercially insured individuals who had $400,000 in average annual specialty drug costs, Prime reported.
    
    The study evaluated pharmacy and medical claims data for 15 million commercially insured Prime members, of whom 226 had at least 1 claim for an HAE drug in the first half of 2016. The study authors tracked these 226 patients with HAE for a year following their first HAE drug claim to study medication use patterns, hospital and emergency department visits, and total cost of care.
    
    The study showed an average 12-month total cost of care of $409,925. Of this total, drug costs were responsible for $395,507 (97%), while all other medical and pharmacy costs totaled $14,418 (3%) of the total cost of care.
    
    Among the 226 patients with HAE, 111 (49%) met continuous enrollment criteria. Of the 111 individuals who met the enrollment criteria, 48 (43%) had claims for 2 or more HAE drugs and 10 (9%) individuals had more than $1 million in HAE drug spend, according to the study. These patients accounted for 30% of the $43.9 million overall HAE drug spending in Prime’s commercial book of business, according to the authors.
    
    Half of all HAE drug expenses were billed through the pharmacy benefit and half through the medical benefit, according to Prime.
    
    “Because HAE drugs are processed on both the medical and pharmacy benefit, it’s essential to have integrated medical and pharmacy claims data to clearly understand patterns of use and comprehensively manage these members,” Catherine Starner, PharmD, BCPS, health outcomes consultant senior principal, Prime Therapeutics, said in a press release. “With drug costs driving 97% of HAE treatment expenses, we do not believe medical costs can be lowered through use of HAE drugs. Rather, diligent pharmacist case management following a patient’s first use of HAE drugs must be provided to help ensure appropriate use and realize cost savings regardless of which benefit (medical or pharmacy) the HAE drug is billed.”

    Ruconest (rhC1INC) is a recombinant human C1 inhibitor (C1INH) used in the treatment of acute attacks of hereditary angioedema, a rare condition caused by dysfunctional or low levels of C1INH in the blood. The condition is caused by a malfunctioning immune system and results in spontaneous attacks of major swelling in the face, limbs, intestinal tract, and upper airways.
    
    How Ruconest works
    
    C1INH controls a protein called C1, one of the molecules in the complement system. Complement is a part of the immune system and functions as a support mechanism for immune responses against infections. More than 30 proteins, which circulate in the bloodstream in their inactive form, make up the complement system. When there is an infection, these proteins sequentially get activated in a cascade: the first activated protein of the cascade activates the second, the second activates the third, and so on.
    
    There are three ways to activate the complement system: classical, lectin-mediated, and alternative. The first molecule of the classical way is C1, which is activated by an antibody-antigen complex in case of infection.
    
    In hereditary angioedema, dysfunctional or insufficient levels of C1INH in the blood cause fluid leakage and swelling. Ruconest is administered as an injection and rapidly relieves the symptoms of an acute swelling attack by increasing functional C1INH levels in the blood.
    
    Conestat alfa, the active compound in Ruconest, is a recombinant human C1INH produced in rabbits and isolated from their milk. As opposed to C1INH that are isolated from human donors, Ruconest does not constitute an infection risk to the patients or have accessibility problems based on the availability of donor blood.
    
    Ruconest in clinical trials
    
    The European Medicines Agency (EMEA) approved Ruconest in 2010 after positive results from three clinical studies (NCT00225147, NCT01188564, and NCT00262301). This was followed by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA)’s approval in 2014 as a treatment of the acute symptoms of hereditary angioedema.
    
    Ruconest was also tested for its efficiency in preventing acute attacks associated with hereditary angioedema. An international Phase 2 study (NCT02247739) found that regular injections of Ruconest resulted in significantly less frequent attacks.
    
    Ruconest has been shown to be safe and effective both in adults and adolescents. Results of a recently concluded Phase 2 clinical trial (NCT01359969) showed that Ruconest is also safe for children ages 2 to 13.
    
    Additional information
    
    Ruconest is available as a self-administration kit in the United States. The European Union has set procedures in motion to make the kit available to patients there as well.
    
    The most common side effects of Ruconest are reported to be headaches, diarrhea, and nausea. Uncommon side effects may include tingling, prickling, or numbness in the skin and limbs, dizziness, throat irritation, abdominal pain, and hives.

    Over welke nieuwsfeiten heb je het precies?
    

    Ik heb het over al het goede nieuws wat over Pharming geschreven is afgelopen tijd .En dat ga ik niet uitgebreid voor jou herhalen.
    
    Verder heb ik het gevoel dat je vaak short gaat gezien je posts, wat het aandeel Pharming absoluut niet ten goede komt.
    
    Tevens geef je aan dat je wel gevoelens hebt.
    
    Bijdeze nogmaals mijn vraag. Waarom zou je je aandelen Pharming bij 1,60 euro verkopen en wat zijn jou gevoelens dan daarbij?
