    Op Pagina 54 van het jaarverslag is te lezen:

    Volgens mij is al eerder gemeld (meer dan 1 jaar geleden) dat Flavium niet prioriteit had, aangezien de noodzakelijke productiecapaciteit voor andere zaken werd ingezet waar meer business mee gemoeid was. Lijkt me managerial een tamelijk eenvoudige keuze dus.

    Live Attenuated Yellow Fever Vaccine Flavimun®: Given the successful sales of the MoRuViraten® vaccine for Measles/Rubella, which is produced in the same facility as Flavimun®, Crucell's management has decided to further postpone the registration submission of the Yellow Fever vaccine in Switzerland. MoRuViraten® was successfully licensed in the first half of 2007 and its registration was renewed.

    Van aossa:
    * Voorkeur voor MMR
    * Blijven grotendeels afhankelijk van 1 grote leverancier.
    * In 2007 heeft zich een extra leverancier gemeld.
    * Men hoopt in 2012 MMR te hebben bedwongen (=afname aantal inentingen).

    Falvimun en MMR worden in dezelfde faciliteit gemaakt.
    Momenteel loopt de zilverboot met MMR binnen

    Crucell heeft daarenboven nog andere ijzers in het vuur.
    Mbt YF: er zijn meer dan genoeg concurrenten.

    Wegens uitbreken van YF haarden in ao. Nigeria wordt de preventieve campagne opgedreven.

    Behoeften aan vaccin doses:
    2009: 50 milj
    2010: 48 milj
    2011: 79 milj
    2012: 119 milj

    Misschien kan Crucell bmv Flavimun goedkeuring hierop inspelen. Probleem is echter dat zowel MMR als YF vaccines in dezelfde faciliteit worden gefabriceerd. Tenzij men de capaciteit uitbreidt en een afzonderlijke faciliteit voor YF voorziet (en daarom misschien de delay van goedkeuring Flavimun).

    I used to look forward to getting up in the morning and clicking on the button to see if Crucell has announced any good news...but there has been a news black out for months on end now.

    OR, they are NOT doing there work ( LARGE and VERY LARGE DEALS ) properly.
