   Logica, Sweden's largest IT tjänstföretag, has signed a preliminary agreement around supply of IT services, with one of the new apoteksaktörerna in the Swedish market, DocMorris pharmacies. Logica will provide the rapidly expanding apotekskedjan with an integrated business systems, Pharma Logica, with all the functions that are necessary for the pursuit of a effective pharmacy including receptexpedition and supply.    During the spring plans DocMorris Pharmacies to in addition already opened pharmacies open to a number of new locations around in Sweden, both in smaller cities and in major cities. The plan is to within three to five years have more than 100 fullserviceapotek around the country. In DocMorris Pharmacies are kundflödet organised in a new clever way. Customers can collect and pay prescription-only medicines in one and the same cash and need not up at several locations. Of course there is also a utgångskassa for non-prescription products.    Logica TRIPLE C helpt gemeenten kwaliteit van dienstverlening te verbeteren

   Convenant legt basis voor unieke samenwerking om gemeentelijke dienstverlening te stroomlijnen
   
   Nederlandse gemeenten gaan hun interne werkzaamheden slimmer vormgeven en kunnen daardoor het toenemende aantal taken uitvoeren tegen lagere kosten. Verder krijgen burgers en bedrijven meer toegang tot de dienstverlening van lokale overheden en krijgen zij beter en sneller inzicht in de besluitvorming rondom bijvoorbeeld vergunningsaanvragen. Met als resultaat hogere tevredenheid over de gemeentelijke dienstverlening bij burgers en bedrijven.
   Dat is mogelijk met TRIPLE C, de nieuwe manier van zaakgericht werken die ICT-dienstverlener Logica heeft ontwikkeld voor de gemeentelijke markt en met een aantal vooraanstaande partners verder zal ontwikkelen.
   
   De gemeenten Westerveld, Teylingen, Uden en Steenwijkerland zijn vandaag live met TRIPLE C. Bij acht andere gemeenten wordt de implementatiefase binnenkort afgerond en wordt de invoering definitief.
   
   iPhone App voor gemeenten
   Logica lanceert vandaag in samenwerking met Govunited een speciale applicatie voor de iPhone waarmee burgers bijvoorbeeld aan de gemeente losliggende stoeptegels kapot straatmeubilair kunnen melden.
   
   Zaakgericht werken
   TRIPLE C staat voor Case Connected Community en biedt enerzijds maximale toegang aan burgers en bedrijven tot gemeentediensten, door verschillende (digitale) loketten te combineren en anderzijds een systeem voor het zogeheten zaakgericht werken. De kern van TRIPLE C is het Logica zaaksysteem, dat gemeentelijke diensten en processen ondersteunt via zogenaamde E-diensten. Hierin staat de “zaak” centraal, dat wil zeggen de aanvraag of melding van een burger of bedrijf. Doel is om de “zaak” zo snel en transparant mogelijk af te handelen. De gemeenteambtenaren werken daardoor effectiever en burgers en bedrijven krijgen sneller de gevraagde informatie en inzicht in het doorlopen van het proces. Daardoor neemt de waardering voor het werk van de gemeente toe.
   
   Ecosysteem
   Logica werkt in een ecosysteem rond TRIPLE C samen met marktpartijen die deeloplossingen voor gemeenten leveren en GovUnited, een samenwerkingsverband van gemeenten. Vandaag ondertekenen deze partners het convenant, dat de start van TRIPLE C officieel markeert. Partners zijn Green Valley, Berkeley Bridge, Yellowtail, HumanInference, KlantinFocus, Sigmax, Verbeterdebuurt.nl, SDU , TNT Post, ICATT en Zarafa. Deze partners verlenen een breed scala aan diensten die variëren van oplossingen voor mobiele handhaving en e-learning, tot het meten van klanttevredenheid van gemeentelijke dienstverlening. De bindende factor en het doel van deze samenwerking is het mogelijk maken van zaakgericht werken binnen gemeenten door hun oplossingen hierop toe te spitsen.
   
   ‘Wij zijn trots op TRIPLE C en de ondertekening van het partnerconvenant, juist op de dag dat de eerste gemeenten live gaan. Met TRIPLE C zet Logica een oplossing neer dat alle procesonderdelen van de klant ondersteunt. Tegelijkertijd sluit TRIPLE C aan bij de ontwikkeling dat online zakendoen in een korte tijd van iets nieuws tot norm geworden is en bij de mate van controle die burgers en bedrijven willen hebben bij hun zaken met gemeenten. Met TRIPLE C kunnen werkzaamheden en systemen slimmer worden ingericht zonder ICT technisch helemaal opnieuw te moeten beginnen. TRIPLE C helpt gemeenten meer te doen, in tijden dat budgetten onder druk staan,’ zegt Monique Mulder, Managing Director van Public Sector Logica Nederland.
   
   Open, maatwerk en toekomstvast
   TRIPLE C is op een open manier vormgegeven. Dat betekent dat systemen die door gemeenten nu worden gebruikt makkelijk kunnen worden geïntegreerd. Verder is het een flexibel systeem dat naar de wens van de gemeente kan worden aangepast, nu en in de toekomst.

   Europol kiest drie IBM-specialisten
   Europol heeft IBM, e-office Group en Logica geselecteerd voor het verlenen van ondersteunings- en adviesdiensten op het vlak van IBM-softwaretechnologie. Het betreft een raamovereenkomst van vier jaar. Voor de aanbesteding schreven zich drie partijen in, en die zijn alledrie geselecteerd. Het perceel voor een continue helpdeskondersteuning werd overigens geannuleerd.
   
   De Europese criminele inlichtingendienst met hoofdkwartier in Den Haag heeft hulp nodig voor de softwaretechnologieën van IBM die momenteel bij de organisatie in gebruik zijn of geïmplementeerd gaan worden. Er zijn zowel ondersteunings- en adviesdiensten als ontwikkelings- en technische taken nodig in het hoofdkantoor van Europol of via telefoon, e-mail of andere communicatiemiddelen. Voor de aanbesteding schreven zich drie partijen in, en die zijn alle geselecteerd: IBM, e-office Group en Logica.

   Framework to help drive compliance with the UK Carbon Reduction Commitment
   
   Logica, a business and technology service company, has announced that it has been awarded a framework for Automated Meter Reading (AMR) and Associated Services by Buying Solutions, the national procurement partner for UK public services. This arrangement supports the recently enacted UK Carbon Reduction Commitment – Energy Efficiency Scheme (CRC-EES) legislation, which demands that organisations can prove they understand, and can predict and manage their energy consumption.
   
   Buying Solutions has put in place a framework for Automated Meter Reading (AMR) and Associated Services that makes it easy for organisations to procure the services they require to save money, reduce energy use and ensure an organisation is compliant with the government’s scheme. Not only does the scheme offer significant financial benefits to those organisations that comply, but it also imposes civil and financial penalties to those that do not adhere to the new legislation. All participants in the scheme will be evaluated and ranked on a number of metrics. These rankings will be made available to the general public online and through the national press. The league tables will begin to be published in July 2011.

   Sundhedsstyrelsens Landspatientregister are the backbone for the exchange of data in the Danish health system. The system will be used to exchange that between the individual hospitals and Department of Health, and it also used to determine the financial framework for the Danish hospitals.
   
   After having been run on a mainframe platform in several years decided Department of Health to create a more modern system, which can meet the requirements, as hospitals and regions are to a US. The objective was to develop a flexible register, which could make the reports more flexible for users and the Department of Health.
   
   ”Landspatientregisteret has been stable at mainframe in several years. Nevertheless, the need for more user functions, modernised reporting and better validation of data been greater.” Tells thor Schmidt, is project leader in Department of Health.
   
   After a call for tender among a number of suppliers were decision chosen to stand for the development of the new Landspatientregister. That the elections fell on decision was due not least, that the company has a thorough knowledge of development of IT solutions to the Danish health care.

   AMSTELVEEN (AFN) - Automatiseerder Logica heeft een contract gesloten met post- en logistiekconcern DHL voor de uitbesteding van het applicatiebeheer voor onder meer planning en sortering. Dat maakte Logica maandag bekend zonder financiële details te geven.
   
   Logica neemt 26 van de meest bedrijfskritische applicaties van DHL Express over. Bij de uitbesteding van de activiteiten gaan ook tien DHL-werknemers over naar Logica. De overeenkomst heeft een looptijd van 2,5 jaar.

    Logica hat für die BMW Group ein unternehmensweites Identity und Access Management System (IdAS) realisiert und in die bestehende IT-Landschaft integriert. Das neue Identitätsmanagement zentralisiert alle Berechtigungs- und Genehmigungsprozesse und gestaltet sie deutlich effizienter als die bis dahin verwendeten Einzellösungen. Das Beratungs- und IT-Dienstleistungsunternehmen Logica verantwortete damit eines der größten Vorhaben in diesem Bereich der IT-Sicherheit in Deutschland. "An Stelle einer komplexen Infrastruktur mit hohen Support- und Wartungskosten arbeitet BMW jetzt mit einem einheitlichen System. IdAS erhöht nicht nur die Sicherheit, sondern vereinfacht vor allem die Benutzerverwaltung für die internen und externen Anwender", erklärt Dr. Andreas Neumann, Management Consultant und Projektleiter bei Logica in Deutschland.
    
    Schnelle Zugangsvergabe
    
    Mit dem neuen System erhalten User in nur drei Stunden Berechtigungen, ihren User-Namen und Log-in für alle Systeme entsprechend ihrem Rollenprofil. Die Anbindung und Synchronisierung von Drittsystemen, unter anderem zum Austausch von Mitarbeiterdaten, Händler- oder Vertragsinformationen, macht die Verwaltung für die IT-Administratoren einfacher. Bis zu 15 Architekten, Entwickler, Projektleiter und Qualitätsmanager von Logica waren an dem Projekt beteiligt. Ihnen gelang eine rasche Umsetzung der Identity- und Access-Lösung, die alle Anforderungen erfüllt: IdAS ist sicher, zentral und einfach.
    
    IdAS unterstützt mehr als 200.000 IT-Nutzer und modelliert mehrere tausend Rollen mit 15 Genehmigungsprozessen und aufwendigen Abhängigkeiten. Auf dieser Basis erfolgt die Verwaltung der Accounts so weit wie möglich automatisiert. Konten sind zum Beispiel zeitlich begrenzt, nach dem Ausscheiden eines Mitarbeiters werden alle Accounts zentral gelöscht. Durch eine Notfallfunktion lässt sich die Berechtigung eines Anwenders sofort sperren.
    
    Award bei European Identity Conference
    
    Vor der Inbetriebnahme von IdAS wurden Berechtigungen für die verschiedenen Systeme und Nutzertypen separat vergeben. Es gab unterschiedliche Prozesse und Plattformen für die Verwaltung von Usern, Accounts und Berechtigungen. Jetzt regelt IdAS das Identitätsmanagement und die Berechtigungsvergabe für unter anderem Windows, CA-Systeme und Host-Systeme. Logica ist nach der Inbetriebnahme auch für den Support und die notwendigen Weiterentwicklungen von IdAS in der Stabilisierungsphase verantwortlich.
    
    Für das IdAS-Projekt bekam BMW gemeinsam mit Logica und den Logica Partnern Omada und Microsoft auf der diesjährigen European Identity Conference (EIC) in München den "European Identity Award" verliehen. Der Preis der bedeutendsten europäischen Veranstaltung auf dem Gebiet Identity und Access Management unterstreicht damit die Kompetenz Logicas als Systemintegrator für Identitätsmanagement-Lösungen.

    Logica, a business and technology service company, was recognised in the Sunday Times Best Green Companies Awards at a ceremony held in London on May 26th 2010. The company was awarded the accolade "Best medium/large company with a low environmental impact," up from 5th postion in the same category last year.
    
    The company improved on its overall ranking placing 15th, up one place on previous years, in the face of large improvements across the increased number of entries. The awards recognise Logica’s commitment to green initiatives and establishing a high internal environmental standard.
    
    The related reduction in carbon emissions and improved energy efficiency is a result of Logica’s innovative “Stamp down our Carbon Footprint” campaign. The campaign has been highly successful, making Logica a green leader in the IT and business services sectors. The company has reduced its carbon footprint by 23% in three years, exceeding its UK 2010 target of 12.5% two years early. All UK sites run on 100% renewable electricity and business flights are down by nearly half compared to four years ago, which has also brought significant cost-savings.
    
    Building on its successes so far, Logica has set itself a tough new target of 50% reduction in emissions by 2020 from 2008 figures. This exceeds the government's UK target of 34%.
    
    Craig Boundy, Chief Executive Officer at Logica UK, commented: “We are thrilled to have been recognised by the Sunday Times for our green credentials again this year and, especially, to be ranked number one in our category. It’s a collective effort; I want thank all my colleagues at Logica, as each and every person has worked to ensure that Logica as a company cuts its carbon emissions. It’s also good for the business. Switching to a greener electricity supply as part of the carbon reduction efforts has lowered our energy bills. Whilst taking action to limit our impact on the environment, we have also increased our competitiveness.”

    Logica wijzigt zijn management team
    Ict-dienstenbedrijf Logica Nederland heeft drie nieuwe directeuren benoemd in zijn management team. Daarnaast krijgen enkele directieleden een andere functie. Strategie van het nieuwe team is om klanten te helpen om hun omgeving van leveranciers, afnemers en partners in kaart te brengen. Dat zegt topman Wilbert Kieboom van Logica Benelux.
    
    Monique Mulder is aangesteld als directeur van de divisie Public Sector. Zij vervangt Haye Mensonides, die directeur van de divisie Business Consulting wordt, naast zijn rol als chief client officer Nederland. Mensonides gaf tot dusver ook leiding aan de divisie Financial Services. Die functie draagt hij over aan Herman Keijsers, die voorheen ook bij deze divisie een leidinggevende rol had.
    
    De divisie Professional Services komt onder leiding van Sake Algra. Hij was tot nu toe service line manager van dit bedrijfsonderdeel. Algra vervangt Paul Langendoen, die begin april 2010 werd aangesteld als algemeen directeur van Logica België. Tot slot staat Rob Leijn sinds enige tijd aan het roer van Logica Commercial Sector, een nieuwe divisie waarin de twee oude divisies Energy, Utilities & Telecom en Industry, Distribution & Transport zijn samengevoegd.
    
    Logica Nederland bestaat uit vijf divisies: Consulting & Professional Services, Commercial Sector, Public Services, Financial Services en Outsourcing Services.

    Logica krijgt opdracht van Skandia
    Maandag 14 juni 2010 10:53 AMSTERDAM (Dow Jones)--Logica plc heeft een outsourcing-opdracht gekregen van de Britse financiele dienstverlener Skandia met een waarde van EUR15 miljoen, zo meldt de ict-dienstverlener maandag.
    Het contract heeft een looptijd van 3 jaar met een optie op een verlenging met 2 jaar.
    Logica gaat een op de 'cloud' gebaseerde infrastructuuroplossing leveren voor de belangrijkste financiele systemen en applicaties van Skandia.
    Skandia is onderdeel van de Britse financiele Old Mutual plc.

    Echt weer iets voor Logica. Nieuwe opdracht en de koers zakt. Waarschijnlijk omdat ze in Londen de groeiverwachting neerwaarts bijstellen?
    Het blijft een aandeel dat maar niet naar die, door analisten genoemde 1,80-2,00 euro, wil stijgen. Toch een vreemde zaak. Zijn de geruchten m.b.t.overgenomen worden waar en wordt daarom de koers gedrukt?

    Logica, Sweden’s largest IT tjänstföretag, has signed an agreement with Apoteksgruppen concerning the delivery and operation of a complete apotekslösning. Apoteksgruppen, which consists of 150 independent member companies, is the fourth largest player in the liberalised Swedish pharmacy market.
    
    After a thorough evaluation of different apotekslösningar for the Swedish market has Apoteksgruppen chosen Pharma Logica from Logica as a basis for the future IT support for its member companies. Pharma Logica is an ERP system with receptexpeditionsstöd which is linked to pharmacies Service AB's all services. The solution based on proven technology in the form of Microsoft Dynamics hub for the basic affärsstödet, in combination with a solution at the retail sale LS Retail. Logica will also deliver operation of the entire solution and roll-out and monitoring of all funds and with on both the head office and to the local pharmacies. The agreement covers virtually all the different infrastructure services required to run a larger nationwide retail.
    
    -We were looking for an integrated approach and a comprehensive supplier with the capacity to take overall responsibility for both implementation, operation and management. All in all, this will in the long term result in a very cost-effective solution with high user-friendliness. Solutions for the Swedish pharmacy is demanding and makes great demands on both solution and production for ensuring sustained patient safety and stability ", says Ola Ebenhart, CIO within Apoteksgruppen.

    BANKGIROCENTRALEN extends outsourcing contracts with Logica Logica, Sweden's largest IT-tjänstföretag, may continued confidence of Bankgirocentralen, BGC AB, who choose to early extend the outsourcing contracts relating system development and management of BGC's IT-systems. The agreement means that Logica will continue as IT-partner of the BGC at least a further five years.
    
    The agreement was signed in February 2008 and includes the development of new interface to Bankgirocentralens Internet-based payment services. This agreement has now been extended and Logica shall in the future manage and develop the application Management concept that was delivered 2008. The commitment makes great demands on risk management when handling bankgirocentralen daily transactions to a value of approximately 25-50 billion.
    
    – We are pleased to have the opportunity to work further on this commitment and take a further step in our outsourcing concept. This further strengthens our good relationship with already BGC. BGC's agreements with Logica consists of a combination of local resources and expertise from India, in accordance with our blended delivery-model. In the context of that we initiated cooperation so moved a slightly more than 50-speech of BGC's employees over to Logica which has guaranteed that the competence has been taken advantage in the best possible way, "says Vahid Zohali on Logica in Sweden.
