    Met de benoemingen van de nieuwe executives van Biolex en Octoplus zijn de eerste stappen genomen voor de overname van zowel Biolex als Octoplus.
    Er wordt ook in dit persbericht weer gewezen op marktleiderschap van Locteron in interferon alfa en de mogelijke combinaties met de nieuwe antivirale Hep C medicijnen die eerdaags op de markt komen.

    Wat aanderen van Locteron vinden ( met dank aan XEA):

    The strong viral response of Locteron achieved with once-every-two-week dosing is an improvement over current interferons, and I am impressed by the consistency of the flu-like effect across trials and different reporting methodologies,” said Nezam Afdhal, M.D., Chief of Hepatology at Beth Deaconess Medical Center, Harvard Medical School. “The reduction in symptoms of depression is quite promising and needs to be followed up in additional clinical evaluation.     Nog even verder gezocht. Pfenex is ontstaan vanuit Dow Chemical. Dow houdt significant minderheidsbelang aan in Pfenex samen met Signet Healthcare Partners.

    Hepatitis C — pipeline update

    Over 3% of the world's population is chronically infected with hepatitis C virus (HCV). Chronic hepatitis C (CHC) is a major cause of liver damage, cirrhosis and liver cancer that can lead to liver failure and death. The current standard of care (SOC) is a combination of pegylated interferon with ribavirin (PEG-IFN/RBV), but this only eradicates the virus in approximately 50% of patients1.
    The recently concluded sixty-first annual meeting of the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases (AASLD) provided a broad overview of the pipeline of novel drugs for the treatment of CHC2. It is clear that this field is on the brink of significant improvements to the SOC that should follow the highly anticipated approval of the first direct antiviral agents (DAAs), telaprevir (Vertex/Johnson & Johnson/Mitsubishi) and boceprevir (Merck), in 2011.

    Zijn er hier mensen die de laatste week in of uitgestapt zijn in Octoplus? Ik denk dat de handel helemaal op slot zit, en dat 1 partij hiervan gebruikt maakt door de koers lager te zetten. Hopelijk komen er snel een paar partijen die Octoplus gaan volgen en dan ook een koopadvies durven te geven. Dit zal het fonds.weer in de picture zetten.

    zit er nog in ,ik meen vanaf pm 18 augustus,de helft verkocht op 1,54.
    overweeg om morgen bij te kopen bij verdere koersval.
