   Op dit moment, blijft de prijs hangen rond de $.1... En zou best kunnen dat'ie teruggaat naar de helft daarvan...Zou ook heel goed kunnen zijn dat'ie met nog zoveel use cases (zie voorafgaande berichten) te gaan, in't zelfde tempo blijft doorstijgen... En net als bij bitcoin, voorzie ik ook dat de 'sky is the limit'...Staan pas aan het hele prille begin van awareness en adoptie...

   For Virtual Currencies -- SBI Virtual Currencies, this summer, we will finally be scheduling the launch. We will do bitcoin. XRP will be handled here as well and other types of regional currencies. And also fixed rate type of currencies are what we would like to carry. For example, it might be fixed at JPY 1. And we would like to also create SBI coins, and we have all these dreams and ideas in place right now in the world. We would like to create unprecedented market through this launch.
   
   And for that, we plan to introduce some mechanism: bring about remittance revolution by building next generation remittance system in Japan and make it a global standard. It's about SBI Ripple Asia. The SBI Group has 60% stake, Ripple 40%. And we also invest 11.3% in Ripple.
   
   Internet protocol, or rather ILP, Interledger Protocol, that is drawing a lot of attention, it is not based on blockchain. It's unlike bitcoin. It's very fast. The process is done within 1 second to complete processing. It's much faster and better than using bitcoin. But of course, cost should be lower. And for that, I think the best way is to use XRP, to use Ripple's coin. And with that, you can reduce cost.
   
   If you use only the Ripple cost, the reduction is only 33%. But if you use Ripple system and virtual currency XRP, you can reduce cost by 60% and as announcement by Ripple. And in the case of Japan, I think you can reduce cost even more to 1/10 of the current level.
   
   So we established the Japan Bank Consortium and SBI Group is serving as the secretary for that. And by applying distributed ledger technology, we are trying to centralize domestic and foreign exchanges. And then the time and convenience for remittance and actual cost will significantly reduce. And it will be 24 hours a day, real-time basis settlement becoming available. And for that consortium, there are 56 banks participating in the consortium. It is increasing. And now it has achieved 56 banks' participation.
   
   So we are now reviewing systems development, operation risk and standardization. Mizuho is one of the first participants, and BTMU is going to participate as well. Mitsubishi-Tokyo UFJ -- Bank of Mitsubishi-Tokyo UFJ is going to participate. And Mitsubishi and the Trust Bank and Norinchukin and also Resona Bank is also participating in this consortium.
   
   And in Japan, it is about RC Cloud. And it's going to be Japan originated, and the first in the world attempt in RC Cloud is cloud-hosted platform, a unified platform using Ripple's solution. And from summer -- winter this year, the commercial use of cross-border payments will start. And with that, the remittance cost will go down significantly and remittance revolution will happen. And there are new 10 financial institutions participating in the global payments network of Ripple, and [MUFJ] is part of it. And 75 -- over 75 banks are participating.
   
   And as to GPSG, the Mitsubishi-Tokyo UFJ, the BTMU -- I'm sorry, Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ is participating. The total of 7 banks are participating to accelerate the commercial usage of the Ripple's system.
   
   Number four, establish SBI Regional Bank Value Creation Fund and help regional FI to revitalize regional economy. And we have many alliances with regional FIs as well as financial institutions both at home and abroad. So in addition to that basis, the bank -- the Japan Bank Consortium now has 41 regional banks, including second-tier, and 28 banks are participating in regional financial -- the FinTech Fund for the regional financial institutions. And the relationships will be much more closer among them.
   
   And with JPY 100 billion size, a new fund will be established, which is going to be the Regional Bank Value Creation Fund. This is to resolve all the problems faced by the regional banks. It's more than JPY 100 billion fund. If we create such a thing, effective usage of the capital can be done where the situation between banks that are cross-holding their shares that can be resolved once. And then the capital will be effectively used. And with that, they can aggressively implement FinTech.

    Thanks...En dit is nog maar het begin, niet alleen voor Ripple & XRP (inmiddels doorgestegen naar bijna $6 billion market cap), maar voor nog de hele crypto community...Mooi stuk hieronder.

    If we observe the market from an investors perspective, cryptocurrency is still a relatively unchartered territory. I believe in a macro scale we are still in shift Innovator Phase to Early Adopters. In honesty, if you take the global population as a whole, no one bats an eye on cryptocurrencies. It is yet an odd phenomenon, only few people will research after hearing about first, not to mention buy any.

    Helemaal mee eens. Mijn rendement op crypto gaat ook door het dak.
    Alles dik in de plus maar vooral Ethereum doet het erg fijn.
    
    Helaas had ik Stratis, Ardor, en Ripple verkocht die zijn alle drie omhoog geschoten.

    In Gatehub, before you confirm the transaction it will show you the network fee amount that it calculated. As @JoelKatz mentioned, it seems anything over 5500 drops goes through fine. So if the network fee is below that, just hit "back" and then "next step" again until it calculates you a network fee over 5500 drops. Hasn't failed me yet

    Ik heb ook voortdurend problemen op gatehub sinds gisteravond. Vandaag was het nog erger, kon geen orders plaatsen of iets transferren. Volgens Gatehub zijn ze extra capaciteit aan het inzetten en zouden de problemen morgen grotendeels opgelost moeten zijn.
    
    Inmiddels weer aan het stabiliseren rond de 10000 sat.
